Our Churches

Trenton, Ontario
St. George's Church
Originally a white frame structure, the present stone church at St. George's was constructed in 1845-46 on property chosen and donated by John Strachan, the first Bishop of Upper Canada. The outer structure was completed and the church opened in the same year, with the interior finished the following year. Initially, the church was under the pastoral care of a priest from Carrying Place. In 1848, the Reverend Canon William Bleasdell was appointed as the first Rector of St. George's Church, conducting his inaugural service on September 3, 1850. This charming church is a fine example of 19th-century English Gothic architecture, highlighted by its many exquisite stained glass windows.

Glen Miller, Ontario
Christ Church
The congregation of Christ Church Glen Miller has been a pillar of the community since its establishment in 1843, marking its remarkable 175th Anniversary in 2018! Nestled in the heart of the former Glen Miller Village, Christ Church boasts a unique "All Things Bright and Beautiful" Baptistry stained glass window, adding to its charm and history. The church is conveniently located near the "Bleasdell Boulder," North America's largest glacial erratic, which was correctly identified and dated at 3 billion years old by the Rev. Canon Bleasdell, a passionate amateur scientist and prominent church leader.
